MANGO is an international retail brand featuring women, mens, and children clothing along with accessories and shoes. They are european based, and only have two US locations in NYC. Our marketing group noticed MANGO was starting to lose its identity among the other high street clothing stores. To help structure MANGO's brand image we conducted swat & pest analysis's of the store and its competitors, focused in on our main customer using a pen portrait, and created strategies and tactics to enhance sales. We did so by analyzing the people, product, place, price, promotion, physical evidence, and process of MANGO.
By taking a deeper look into the Alexander McQueen Brand and its collections, I learned the elements it takes to produce a single t-shirt. From its inspiration, the range plan, pricing, the consumer, brand identity, swot and pest analysis's, and selling, there is more that goes into one garment that one would guess.
As a financial case study project we had to create a start up luxury t-shirt brand, which I chose to name "Kissmae". Our main goal was to create a successful crowd funding plan as well as calculating all costs for the our first three collections or 18 months. This project gave me great insight to the reality of costs for a start up label, as well as pitching a brand to an audience.
